Congratulations to our Q3 Teacher of the Quarter, Mr. Nick Feenstra, who teaches HS Science. Student Body President, Doug Geier presented Mr. Feenstra with a certificate & mug. The students say that Mr. Feenstra makes learning fun with labs and activities, helping them with their homework, answering their questions, and keeping class interesting. He also explains lessons well, is flexible, understanding, listens to students and shows them respect. Mr. Feenstra's fun sense of humor makes him a great teacher!
Finley-Sharon's Above and Beyond program recognizes all of the great things that our students do to help out or are "caught" doing without being asked. Staff members mail home to parents a postcard describing how their student had gone "Above & Beyond." For this quarter, 19 students were nominated and winners were drawn. Congrats to Ashlyn Olson & Bryson Kirk!
Ashlyn Olson- She's a great student, who frequently organizes the textbooks in the Science classroom
Bryson Kirk-Always willing to lend a hand. Great job of helping make Chili for the FFA Corn Hole tourney
They will each be rewarded with a Starbucks gift card. Congrats, Ashlyn & Bryson!
